What a week! I didn't get the first job but the second interview went really well and I will find out on Monday whether I was successful and probably Wednesday about MOndays interview.
I Was reminded of that verse in the bible:
2 Cor 4:6-9 For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.
8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
I really find that in times when I am really down that gettin out my guitar and singing really lifts me, I focus on God's faithfullness and it reminds me that he has promised that he will never abandon us.
The picture below is from a great flickr page just click on the image it will take you to it. It is one of my favorite songs by Matt Redman. It makes me think that I try and put God into my own image, and try and make him what I want (the great sweet shop owner in the sky who gives me what I want, as long as I have enough pocket money).

If any of you are going through tough times too, let me know I would love to pray for you.
